Ms. Hellen Grace Namulwana

Helen Joined UCRNN in February 2003 as Programme officer – Advocacy and information. Helen has a specific focus on child rights advocacy; an area she has engaged in since 2000. combination of her ability to understand and relate with children and use of that knowledge to present and push for positions that better children’s lives make her a suitable person to engage at all levels.
She posses a B.A social sciences degree, a certificate in counseling, P.G.D Public Administration and management and currently pursuing a masters Degree in management studies in Public Administration. |

Helpline Coordinator
Geoffrey joined UCRNN in August 2008. He wields enormous potential, is intelligent and analytical, articulate, purposeful and outgoing. He holds a Masters Degree in Human Rights from Makerere University and is highly knowlegeable about Child Helpline issues |

Ms. Philomena Nakyazze
Programme Officer
Head Policy and Research Department
Philomen heads the Policy and Research Department. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Sciences , a Masters degree in Develpment Studies and specialised training in monitoring the implementation of International Human Rights Instruments.
Philomen joined UCRNN in 2008 as a volunteer and served in the Advocacy Department. She has since then served in Networking & Information and Curently in Policy and Research Department.

Ms. Doreen Sampa
Senior Programme Officer
Coordinator ECPAT Uganda
She joined UCRNN in 2004 and worked as a Program Assistant attached to Advocacy/Information Department.
Before joining UCRNN, Doreen worked as a Data Entrant for Associated Engineering Surveyors.
She is now entirely in charge of the Networking/ Membership Development Department. She is also responsible for the daily operations of the Secretariat’s Information Center.
Doreen is a graduate of Makerere University where she studied Urban Planning, through training and practice; she has acquired solid competences in information and documentation management. |

Ms. Lydia Akite
Programme Officer / Head Networking and Information Department
Lydia posses a degree in Development studies, a certificate in HIV counseling, a certificate in introduction to monitoring and evaluation.
She joined UCRNN in July 2006 as a volunteer. She is now attached to the networking and information department.
Prior to joining UCRNN she worked as a Programme Assistant where her main duties where to counsel HIV/AIDS clients, carryout home visits and supervising home based care community volunteers among other duties.
She also worked as a research Assistant for many researches and organizations such as Refugee Law Project, Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development and Save the Children in Uganda. |

Mr. Epodoi Godfrey
Finance & Administration Manager
A Part ACCA qualified, with diploma in Business Education and 10 (ten) years experience in Accounts, 3 of which have been at senior management level. He has attended an NGO financial management & resource mobilisation training.
Godfrey joined UCRNN in September 2001 as an administrative Assistant, was promoted to Administrative & Finance Officer after two years and subsquently Finance and Administration Manager in January 2007. |

Mr. Benjamin Ouke
Accountant
Ouke Benjamin joined UCRNN on 1st October 2008 as an accountant. He was selected from a competitve group of candidates to support the finance department in order to promote and protect the rights and lives of children in Uganda.
He qualified from Makerere University, where he studied a Bachelors degree in Business Administration, majoring in finance. He has proven ability and demonstrated experience of work in harmonious multicultural environments for three years in accounts departments. Worked as an Accounts assistant in Transport and Construction companies before joining UCRNN.

Walusimbi Lillian Lydia
Administrator
She holds a higher diploma in business Administration from Nkumba University, currently undertaking ACCA (Association of Certified Chartered Accountants) stage 2.
She started working with Afroscon as an administrative cashier, later joined Rubaga Youth Development Association as an accounts assistant.
She joined Uganda child Rights NGO Network in August 2005 as volunteer in the Finance and administration department. She is was appointed as an administrative/accounts assistant then January 2008 as Administrator |

Mr. Seruyinda Simon
IT Administrator
Seruyinda Simon Joined UCRNN in July 2008 as a Volunteer IT Assistant. He holds a Bsc in Information Technology from Uganda Martyrs University and completed his Cisco Certified Network Associate course (CCNA) in 2007.
Simon has worked as an Intern in the IT Unit Mulago Hospital (2006) and Computer science and Information Systems (CSIS) Department in Uganda Martyrs University in 2007.
He is very good at Systems/Network Administration, programming, web designing and hardware maintenance.
Programming Languages: PHP/MYSQL, JAVA, VB.net, HTML
Operating systems: Linux/UNIX and Windows (2000, server 2003, XP, Vista)
He is currently an IT Administrator at UCRNN and also a Part-Time Lecturer at Uganda Martyrs University.

Ms. Margret Kyomugisha
Administrative Assistant
Margaret joined Uganda Child Rights NGO Network as front Office Administrator in September 2006.
Ms. Margaret has worked with Celtel Uganda as an Administrator and gained experience of 6 years in executing Administrative work she has experience in various fields i.e., networking basics, customer care relations, carrying out training relating customer relations and Cross cutting with HIV patients.
Margaret is not limited to front office, she provides consistent information on Child Rights in Uganda mainly affected by Abuse, Conflicts and Neglect to the general public as well. |

Mr. Vincent Okello
Office Assistant/Driver
Vincent has had a four year clean driving experience. He has served in various places as a driver and as an office attendant.
Vincent joined UCRNN in March 2004 and has since then become very focal to even provide office administration support such as store keeping. |
